In 2012, a consumer awareness campaign was created for the Illinois Treasurer’s Office “Cash Dash” program to help reunite more Illinois residents with their unclaimed assets. The program was rebranded as “I-Cash” and included testimonials from Illinois residents who had already successfully claimed assets through the program.
A new logo, along with a full brand guide and suite of marketing materials, billboards and new website was launched throughout the state. Augmented with beautiful photography and a conversational and easy to understand video, the new campaign launch was a major success.
Within the first four weeks of the launch of the new brand, the number of web visits and claims increased 185 percent in website visits and increased 383 percent in the number of claims filed.
